Who we are
This website is operated by Procurement Code Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17132179, registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this notice. You can contact us at contact@procurement-code.com.
What we collect
When you contact us through the website or by email, we collect the information you choose to give us: your name, your email address, your organisation, the areas you're interested in, and anything you include in your message.
We don't use website analytics or tracking cookies, and we don't track you across other websites.
If you join the Procurement Code Labs waiting list, we collect your name, work email, organisation, the areas of Labs you tell us you're interested in, and anything you choose to share about what has prompted your interest.
How we use it, and our lawful basis
We use enquiry information to respond to your enquiry, to discuss and provide our services, and to keep records of our dealings with you. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who get in touch and running our business, and, where relevant, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Where you join the Labs waiting list, we use your details to contact you about Procurement Code Labs, including news of when it opens. Our lawful basis for this is your consent, given when you register, and you can withdraw it at any time by emailing us. We won't add you to any general newsletter or wider marketing without asking you separately.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information. We use a small number of trusted service providers who process information on our behalf to help us run the business. These include HubSpot, our customer relationship management provider, which stores enquiries and waiting-list details, along with our email and website hosting providers. They act on our instructions and are bound to keep your information secure.
Some of these providers, including HubSpot, are based in the United States. Where personal information is transferred outside the UK, we rely on the safeguards required by UK data protection law, such as the UK extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the International Data Transfer Agreement, so that your information receives an equivalent level of protection.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information for as long as we are in contact with you and for a reasonable period afterwards, and longer where we need to for our legal or business records. We keep Labs waiting-list details while we are developing and running Labs and for a reasonable period afterwards, after which we review and delete what we no longer need. We don't keep personal information longer than we need to.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to withdraw consent where we rely on it, and to ask for a copy in a portable form. To exercise any of these, email contact@procurement-code.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, though we'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
